Earning Points for Master Instructor at DEMA

Qualifying Programs for MI held at DEMA

If you're working towards becoming a PADI MI, it's possible to knock out all three Instructor Development "points" at DEMA. Here are the programs that fulfill the requirement.

The IDC Staff Update (1 pt)
Member Forum (1 pt)
and four mini seminars (1 pt - see below for details)

Mini-Seminars
You must attend four mini-seminars to earn one point. Two are required: PADI Standards, and PADI Risk Management. The other two are elective. The EVE program counts but the EFR IT program does not. A complete list of PADI's Mini-Seminars at DEMA is available on the PADI Pros website.

The IDC Staff Update on Friday 24 October is open to IDC Staff Instructors and higher. The program runs from 8am - 12pm. Early bird registration price is $198, regular price is $220.

Member Forum also counts for one credit. This is a free program and it runs Wednesday 22 Oct. from 8am-10am.
